A great meal in a dramatic setting. Excellent music and exciting atmosphere. This place has a great vibe and a cool place. Would be great as a location to entertain people. Very short, extremely rude, poor service and snarky to say the least. Please remember you are there to service customers at your own will. We did the Dine LA menu and it was worth it! Our waiter, Abel, was friendly and attentive! The drinks at the bar were great as well!
Here's the scenario It's my sister's birthday. We had a party of 10 people. The restaurant greeter was less than friendly. We were told we had 90 minutes from the time we are seated before we must wrap dinner up. Once we got seated, appetizers took over 45 minutes to come out.
The apps were just average From there, dinner didn't come out until 1. After being told the food was coming out several times After confronting a Manager, dinner finally came and food was cold. How did Tao try to fix this situation? They comp'd us a dessert platter for the birthday girl but most of the party had already left. Do better Tao! Seems like the bartender was NOT making the drinks.
The drinks were not worth the cost. Top notch ambience, top notch service and excellent food. Finally made it to Tao during DineLA and was very pleased. Each dish was delicious. Epic Ambience the food was incredibly tasty all the plates were shareable and the drinks were absolutely fabulous expert! A perfect place for a special occasion! I went for a Birthday celebration.
The spot was nice and classy guys did have on jeans and I was allowed in with flip flops. However I changed into heels. Overall it nice and cool check it out. I chose Tao as a pre-birthday celebration with my friends and we enjoyed our selves. The food was excellent, the ambiance is definitely a vibe and the best part was the music! Birthday celebration with the family. Awesome ambience. Yes, you can generally book this restaurant by choosing the date, time and party size on OpenTable.

It is a popular site for worship and tourism in the Los Angeles area. Thien Hau Temple is dedicated to Mazu, the Taoist goddess of the sea and patron saint to sailors, fishermen, and to those whose cultures are associated with the sea. Guan Yu, the god of war, brotherhood, and righteousness; Fu De, the god of the earth, wealth and merit; Dizang, a bodhisattva from the Buddhist faith are also worshiped at the Thien Hau Temple.
The original building of the temple was formerly a Christian church. It was purchased in the s and transformed into a small Taoist temple. Blessed with a strong faith-based community in and outside of Chinatown Los Angeles, the temple was able to raise enough funds with which to build a larger temple next door.
