I enjoyed looking at all of the old fixtures and pictures We had a great time chatting with other patrons and the bartenders were very kind and attentive. Cool dive bar with great drinks that won't cost you a fortune. Good Saturday night friendly crowd, reasonable prices, vintage vibe in the short north.
We had night caps at Char Bar and were so pleased. The bartenders have generous pours, which is nice. But nicer still is that the clientele are all casual a nice break from the gentrified Short North and everything is stripped down simple.
Old dive bar with a lot of charm. Patio outside he back door, pool table, juke box, bar and tables. Restrooms are downstairs and that can be a scary trek but the service is good and the drinks are even better. Tip They are so yummy you will drink it fast. It is still super strong.
