Dark blonde austin band

Yeah, definitely! I've had the pleasure of playing with a lot of great musicians. These are the people who helped shape my playing style. JE : That is a long list, so I will name a few. Nocturne Noir , kind of a black metal meets J-Rock heavy sound. Savitar : Middle Eastern-based Mars Volta sound. Pixel Panda: anxiety-driving chaos dance rock.

Latin: vocal-driven modern alt rock. Maps for Travelers: heavy indie rock. Capture the Flag : electronic bass dance indie. My current groups are Various Blonde: vintage expressive rock, and Jorge Arana Trio: punk jazz, as described by Jorge. JE : I have also played in country and pop bands. There isn't anything someone could put in front of me that I wouldn't try because you can learn from every style, and that keeps me growing as a musician. Who would they be? Separating by genre? Taught or rough on the edges?

It would totally depend on what was trying to be accomplished. This is a group I am trying to get in my basement! The Deli : Anything else you want to share with us about your technique? JE : I would like to become a jazz drummer. That means I have work to do. The Deli : What other plans do you have for the bands this year? As far as other projects are concerned, I do have an idea I might start working on, but the trio is my top for sure! Michelle is editor-in-chief of The Deli - Kansas City. She owns an Australian cattle dog and a Corgi.

The Corgi is the dumbest but also quite possibly the most adorable animal she has ever owned. Share this story on Facebook. Josh Enyart. Photos by Jorge Arana. Jorge Arana Trio. The only element that remained from the band was Allen. In the '90s, Faith Hill had a mane of wild, Julia Roberts-esque curls, but she eventually chopped it into a bob. It may have been a controversial move at the time, but it proved the "Breathe" singer is beautiful in any cut.

Around the same time, Martina McBride cut her hair into a pixie cut in order to stand out—and it worked, drawing attention to those baby blue eyes. Who could forget Shania Twain's red carpet staple—a ponytail tightly pulled back with full curls cascading down?

That hair. Those mustaches. Though they frequently switched up their hairstyles and hair colors , the band started out as a trio of blondes—with those wispy bangs that were so popular in the late '90s framing their faces, of course.

We'd know that blonde head of hair anywhere. The New Zealand-born country star still rocks a similar look as he did here in As the American Idol winner went from "girl next door" to "superstar," her natural curls evolved as well, into the more glamorous look she is known for today.

Another American Idol alum, Bucky Covington is instantly recognizable by his blonde waves. Remember when Taylor Swift looked like this? Back when she crooned only country music, the singer-songwriter wore her hair in curls classic to the genre. She has since relaxed into a short, straight style.

The "Kerosene" singer embraced her bad-girl persona with rock star-worthy hair fit for head banging. This musician's impressive head of hair and beard earn him a spot on this list. Jake Owens's haircut transformed his flowing, shoulder-length strands into a clean-cut taper fade—a huge moment in modern country music hair. People flipped into All Stories. The food was exceptionally savory and authentic; lots of veggies, teriyaki chicken, and sticky white rice. Now that our appetite for food was appeased, our appetite for shopping resurfaced. We stopped in several boutiques and antique stores. Most notable was Upstairs Downstairs Antiques. It was not a typical antique store with dainty teacups and lace handkerchiefs; it had an intriguingly eerie aura about it. So many randomly placed knives. We thought it strange that they would just be lying on shelves, out in the open for anyone to grab.

After each buying a creepy photo, a medicine bottle for Micah, an oil lamp for Marison, and becoming convinced that the many knives were meant for an upcoming murder, we left the store. We were now on the road to Austin; an estimated 41 minute car ride from Georgetown. A pretty uneventful, calm trip. However the opposite became true upon our arrival; explosive spontaneity soon became all we knew. Right off of the interstate, we entered the UT campus.

She began taking pictures of even the most minor sights. We began our journey up Guadalupe Street, first stopping in Urban Outfitters, a favorite store of ours, and a first time for Makayla. The clothes, overpriced but desirable, were the subject of our attention.

Until we found the photo booth located in the back right corner of the shop. The four of us somehow squeezed into the tight-seat for two. Piling on top of one another induced laughter and smiles, all captured by fictitious photographer. The laughing could not be stopped; seriously step into a photo booth anytime you come across one for a worthwhile memory.

Coffee shops pop up everywhere you look in Austin. Iced mochas and chai tea lattes earned our favor, perfectly satisfying our insistent craving and causing a sudden need to find a facility. The graffiti across the street called for the perfect photo opportunity: its spherical design was flooded with brightly colored images that created a tiny world you could momentarily step into and become lost in the active scene.

We do not even consider the name of the next boutique we entered memorable due to their abrupt rudeness. An employee swept our drinks from our hands with no warning whatsoever, setting them on a counter near the front.

We simply retrieved them and exited the overpriced, uninteresting place. Upon exiting we noticed a total of zero signs warning us against bringing in beverages. We later saw on her Instagram pictures of California, where she currently was.

Our last stop on Guadalupe Street was a tiny little shop, Dainty Hooligan. We stepped inside to have quick peek and left with a new pair of shoes for Cait. Also inside, the lone employee allowed us to use the restroom; this was the highlight of the store, over the amazing deal Cait got on her heels. With our shopping appetite now appeased, we headed towards the UT campus. She was advertising some sort of event that was not made very clear.

But that did not matter; Micah was significantly captivated by her largeness and notably elongated neck. Our next sight included the UT tower in one direction and the State Capitol in the other. We took turns taking photos of one another before we finally asked a hesitant pedestrian to snap one of all four of us. Despite our separate conversations, we shared moments such as dealing with the long walk back to the car by optimistically burning calories, and Marison getting over-excited by ornate, pretty doors.

Micah and Caitlin had talked about understanding your emotions, forgiving people, and seeing the world in a positive light. As we began to drive out we spotted a group of guys in the same situation we had been in earlier when faced with buying a parking ticket. Without need of using it to its full potential, we rolled down the window and offered our ticket to them.

Disbelieving, they accepted it with profane exclamations of happiness. With this good deed fresh in our minds, we drove out of the parking lot immediately turning into a freely decorated alley. The majority of one wall was taken up by living letters spelling the words East Side.

Whilst making our way out of the campus grounds we were very happy. And we were listening to loud, happy music.

And we had the windows down. Because happy. And Micah spotted the bee in the car.
