The man, who has not been identified, collapsed at the bottom of a stairwell and died from his injuries, police said. He was reportedly in an argument with a male suspect in the parking lot when shots were fired, according to SAPD.
Officers are now searching for the driver of a black car that left the area after the shooting. Investigators said they found evidence of multiple gunshots that were fired inside one of the apartment buildings. They say they are not sure if the man who was killed was a resident of the complex.
